DESCRIPTION:
Highly desirable Submarine model with multisided screw back. 9ct gold case hallmarked 1937/38. The Benson is in excellent condition with unbelievably good enamel dial and hands. They appear as new. The movement is by CYMA and has just been overhauled with new balance staff. Very good timekeeping. Watch has a period Benson box and is fitted with a hardly worn quality strap. Case size is 30mm not including crown for daily manual winding.
I recently sold a similar benson with screw down bezel but I believe this is the Submarine model because it has the waterproof case. Price represents the rarity of this model and its condition.
