Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are your 'Unrestored Watches'?
A: These are watches that we are selling to the trade and public wihout any restoration work or service work being carried out on them by ourselves. Typically they will have minor faults and need servicing and or other minor repairs. These watches are sold on trade terms as is, without any warranty.
Q.: Why are you selling watches that need work?
A: Service work on vintage watches is now very expensive to undertake and we have a large stock of watches that are now uneconomic to service and restore ourselves. We also have limited resources to undertake this work so we have decided to sell these direct to the trade and public at very low prices.
Q: Will you service and restore a watch listed in your 'Unrestored section'?
A: No, it is not economic for us to do this so they are sold at cheap prices so you can make your own arrangements for servicing and restoration with your local watchmaker.
Q: Can I return a watch bought from you?
A: All our watches can be returned with 7days of receipt for a refund. Please notify firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible after receipt.
Q: Are your watches covered by a warranty?
A: All watches for sale in our 'Unrestored watches' are sold unrestored and unserviced and on trade terms with NO warranty. Watches listed in the 'Vintage or Modern Watches' section come with 3 months warranty. Check the individual listing for details.
